The Rome SDA church is located on Cedartown Highway and worships each week on Saturday.
We want to invite you to our Sabbath School which starts at 9:30 AM with a song service and Superintendents remarks. We have one adult Sabbath School class led by Omin Chandler and Valencia Stonewall.
Our Sabbath School quarterly for this First quarter of 2016 is entitled “Rebellion and Redemption”. God has pledged to bear in Himself the full responsibility for all human rebellion and to suffer the consequences for every evil we have committed. Jesus has won the decisive victory at the cross. The challenge has always been where we place our loyalties: on the side that has won or on the side that has lost.
The Mission emphasis for this quarter is the South American Division. The division territory includes Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chili Ecuador, Peru, Paraguay, and Uruguay. The area’s population is 321,828,000 of which 2,271,589 are Seventh-day Adventists.
This quarter’s Thirteenth Sabbath Offering will help these projects:
• Two floating church/clinics on the Amazon & Solimoes Rivers
• A chapel at the Trans-Amazon Academy, Altamira-Itaituba, Brazil
• Church plant in Asencion, Paraguay
* Center of Influence in Sajonia, Asuncion, Paraguay
* Center of Influence in La Teja, Montevideo, Uruguay
* Church Plant in Goes, Montevideo, Uruguay

Adventists believe a Trinity of three persons–the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit–make up one God. They made salvation possible when Jesus, the Son, came to earth as a baby in Bethlehem and lived a sinless life in accordance with the Father’s will. When Jesus was crucified for the sins of the people of the world and arose from the dead on the third day, victory was won for everyone.
When He returned to heaven following the resurrection, Jesus left the Holy Spirit to serve as our Comforter and Counselor. He promised to return to earth a second time to complete His plan of salvation and take His people to heaven. Adventists are among the believers who look forward to that day.
Adventists believe that God is concerned with the quality of human life, and that everything–the way we live, eat, speak, think, treat each other, and care for the world around us–is a part of His plan. Our families, our children, our jobs, our talents, our money, and our time are all important to Him.
