Worship with us in Rome

Our pastor Rey Bibit

Pastor Rey was born in one of the 7,100 islands of the Philippines. He moved to the beautiful islands of Hawaii at a young age. Separated from his beloved mother, he ended up in a lot of trouble, faced many hardships, and lived a purposeless life. At the age of sixteen, he experienced the convincing power of God’s amazing love. He felt the call to ministry and has served God in many ways since then. Rey studied at the SOULS-WEST Leadership school in Arizona. He completed his Bachelor’s of Theology at Central Philippines Adventist College, and received a Master’s in Divinity at the Andrews University Seminary. Rey is happily married to his beautiful wife, Liezel. They both love Jesus and are passionate about serving his people.

“If I find myself a desire which no experience in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that I was made for another world” (C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity, p. 106).

Fall

Seventh-Day Adventist Beliefs

In your life journey, we hope that you find the peace and rest that only God can provide. We also hope that you consider us a friend in your time of need or of joy, and that you find in the community of faith a family to encourage and to challenge you as you grow in Jesus. Seventh-day Adventists accept the Bible as the only source of our beliefs. We consider our movement to be the result of the Protestant conviction Sola Scriptura—the Bible as the only standard of faith and practice for Christians.
